Meet Marisol Luna, Girl of the Year 2005
Marisol was born to dance! There’s nothing more she enjoys than her dance classes. Just like me, Marisol loves to go to her dance classes including jazz, tap, folkloric ballet and classical ballet. I took tap, jazz and ballet classes too but mostly ballet. When Marisol moves to a neighborhood in Chicago she finds out there is no dance studio. She is sad. I feel awfully sorry for Marisol because she loves dancing as much as I do.
Marisol is amazingly resourceful and doesn’t give up easily, just like Cinderella.
Marisol meets Miss Mendoza who teaches Marisol dance at home. Miss Mendoza offers Marisol her pink top hat and cane to dance with. How cool is that? Eventually Marisol convinces Miss Mendoza to teach dance lessons with her 2 new friends. Marisol figures out how to get what she loves and ends up being so happy in her new neighborhood.
I would totally recommend this book and merchandise because dancing has always been part of my life just like Marisol. Marisol was born to dance just like I was.
