Samantha Saves the Day!
In 1898, Mr. and Mrs. Parkington were taking a boat back home from Teardrop Island. Tragically, a storm hit just when they were coming to a treacherous part of the lake. Their boat was wrecked on the rocks and they drowned. Their only child, four-year-old Samantha, was then sent to live with her grandmother, Mary Edwards.
Six years later, Samantha, now ten years old, discovers her mother’s old sketchbook, containing water-colored drawings of her with her parents at Teardrop Island. Hoping that seeing these things in real life will help her remember her parents, Samantha takes her new cousins on a journey to the island.
At first, it’s amazing, but when a storm hits just like the night her parents died, Samantha must find their way back home, before she meets the same fate as her parents.
