New Things in the Spring

March 20, 2019 by GirlAGain

For many people, springtime means more than just sunny weather and flowers.  It symbolizes new beginnings, new hopes for the year ahead, for happiness after a long, dreary winter.  For our Historical Dolls, it also means another thing-it means birthdays! Most of the AG Historical Characters celebrate their birthdays in the spring.  In their books, […]

Addy’s Sentimental Quilt by Colleen O.

February 14, 2019 by GirlAGain

Addy's Wedding Quilt book

Addy has a lot to be excited about.  The Civil War is over, slavery has been abolished, and her whole family-her mother and father, her big brother Sam and her little sister Esther-are back together again after over a year of being scattered apart.  Best of all, her parents have decided that now they are […]

Valentine’s Day at Girl AGain by Mackenzie H.

January 30, 2019 by GirlAGain

Every year around this time at the store, talk turns to Valentine’s day. The excitement is in the air! I love this time of year! It inspires a certain type of creativity, one of pink and red, declarations of love, (of all types).  No matter your age, you can celebrate the day by celebrating the […]

Clothing in the Eighteenth Century – Felicity’s Dress by Colleen O.

April 27, 2018 by GirlAGain

Today, when you started your day, you might have thrown off your PJs and thrown on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt before running out the door, quick and easy.  But it wasn’t like that in the late eighteenth century when Felicity Merriman was a girl. Back then, girls wore a sort of white […]

Kirsten in dress with fishing rod and fish

Kirsten Larson was a 10-year-old girl in 1855. She was an immigrant from Sweden and moved to Minnesota with her family. She helped her family on their farm. Kirsten and her brothers loved to catch fish in the stream near their home. Kirsten was one of the first three original dolls introduced by Pleasant Rowland. […]

Our Store

American Girl Store Girl AGain opened in February 2014 to rave reviews from American Girl doll fans, their moms and especially their grandmas. You’ll find authentic gently used AG dolls, clothing, furniture, accessories and books that have been cleaned and prepared for sale at good prices in an easy-access store.

We also host in-store events such as American Girl book author readings, tea parties, and craft activities. Our most popular event is Girl AGain Doll Hair Do’s & Don’ts Workshop. Check here often to see what is scheduled.

You’ll find a selection of dolls: the original dolls from the historical periods as well as My American Girl, Bitty Baby and Bitty Twins. We have new and used outfits for all AG dolls, as well as their furniture and accessories. Our merchandise changes daily.

You’ll also find a great selection of new and used American Girl books. You don’t have to be a doll lover to enjoy the advice books like The Care and Keeping of You, and A Smart Girl’s Guide to Money.

Girl AGain is not affiliated with American Girl(r) company.

Yes She Can!

Did you know that 80% of adults with autism are unemployed? We created our boutique specifically to help develop transferable job skills for young women with autism. Our trainees at Girl AGain sort, clean and prepare the merchandise, price it, and display it in our shop. Our trainees learn about marketing, merchandising, retailing, customer service, and inventory acquisition in addition to appropriate workplace behavior, research, collaboration and decision-making. We have staff who manage our accounting (Quick Books) and our website (WordPress).

Our customers learn about the abilities of people with autism. And hopefully, our youngest shoppers learn about acceptance and inclusion of people with disabilities.
