We will be observing Earth Day on April 22nd. Honoring the environment is something each of us is responsible for every day.
Celebrated for more than a half-century, the annual day dedicated to environmental awareness provides the perfect opportunity to reflect on our care of the planet and remind us how important it is to take care of our planet
The American Girl historical character Julie represents the 1970s and how she and her generation addressed issues such as sexism and traditional male assumptions. She did not accept these limitations, which would have prevented her from following her dreams. Julie is a fun-loving, energetic, spirited individual who is always full of new ideas. She played for an all-male basketball team and was involved in various projects for the school, community, and the environment.
Like Julie, we are also concerned about the environment here at Girl AGain. Many of you are aware that all the items we offer at our boutique have been generously donated to us. Our generous merchandise donors generously donate their beloved collections, allowing us to refurbish the pieces and resell them.
We are very conscious of the importance of recycling. We save and find new homes for reused items and recycle any materials we can, such as boxes, bags, and hangers.
Let’s celebrate Earth Day together! Visit us at 10 Church St. in White Plains, and find amazing treasures from Julie’s collection and many other items you will love.
