The meaning of Thanksgiving is a time to express gratitude for blessings, foster togetherness with family and friends, and practice generosity toward others. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the good in our lives, share meals, and strengthen bonds, while also encouraging acts of charity and giving back to the community.
At Yes She Can, our trainees, coaches, and volunteers wanted to share what they are grateful for:
Kaya is thankful for her best friend’s mom and PT therapist
Mal is thankful for their friends. Lorena is grateful for her coaches
Charlotte is thankful for her parents and siblings
Rachel is thankful for her friends
Julia is grateful for being able to have fun with friends
Evan is thankful for the people around him
Keith and Jennifer are grateful for their health
Diane is grateful for all the love in her life
Everyone has different traditions for Thanksgiving. Some people spend this day with friends or family, some others like to reflect and have a quiet moment, and some others enjoy cooking or walking.
However you celebrate this time of year, we hope you have a nice and meaningful week.
