Playtime in 1904 isn’t exactly up to Samantha’s standards! She wants to run around and climb trees but Grandmary says it’s not proper for a young lady. In 1904 girls were not allowed to play the same way they do today, so although Samantha’s play outfit isn’t very practical, it’s filled with beautiful ruffles perfect for a young girl of Samantha’s status! The beautiful navy blue checked dress has fancy, puffed long sleeves, and the pinafore even has a working pocket your Samantha doll can put her belongings in! Introduced to Samantha’s collection in 1989, this outfit has been retired since 2006. It is the original Pleasant Company version. Now is the perfect time to bring this outfit home!

Our programs promote confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in integrated community settings while fostering personal growth and self-expression.
