Samantha’s Summer Set

This whole set includes Samantha in a long-sleeved white middy dress with a sailor collar; pleated skirt with four decorative buttons; black braid trim on collar and sleeves; embroidered black anchor on front and stars on collar; a white sailor tam with black ribbon brim and knot; black and white high button shoes; black tights; and a bronze whistle. Both the doll and outfit are Pleasant Company.  The Nature Paraphernalia includes a pack basket; a white net; three butterflies including two Eastern Tiger Swallowtails and one Monarch butterfly; orange black-eyed Susans; a cream handle magnifying glass; and a wooden flower press. It is the original version that was released with a cream-handled magnifying glass.  Some of the flowers show wear and there is a slight mark on the net handle.  The Summer Amusements includes a wooden paint box with six sections; six different paint tubes; a black paintbrush; a wooden palette; a pillow that says “I Pine For You” on it; and a red sketchbook with pictures of baby Samantha with her parents at a family picnic during the summer of 1897.  The paint set is in new condition.  It is marked with a gold Pleasant Company sticker and it is the first edition making it pre-1994.  We’ve also included one of the original pamphlets and the book Samantha Saves the Day.  This is such a special Samantha bundle!  A  true find!
