Rosh Hashanah is the beginning of Tishri, the Hebrew month, celebrated as the anniversary of the creation of the world.
It is a two-day festival of atonement, remembrance, and renewal that marks the “head of the year.”
American Girl Rebecca Rubin is a Jewish character. In her story, her family includes her mom and dad, her four siblings, and her grandparents. She loves acting and has always dreamed of being an actress when she grows up.
She also loves working with her father at his shoe store. Her talent is needlework, like crochet.
She enjoys the Holidays and follows all the traditions and culture of her ancestors.
Like Rebecca, we love the magic of the Holiday season. To all who celebrate, we wish you a Sweet New Year.
