When I was very young, I always looked forward to Easter Sunday. My parents would bring me and my younger sister Marie to church. I would pick out a nice spring-like dress, with white, light sparkly green, and blue. My mom would pick out something similar for Marie to wear. I would get to church at 9:45 am because the church would start at 10:00 am and I would enjoy the choir practicing the song Jesus Christ Is Risen Today. That particular hymn is one of my favorites. After church, I would spend time with my family and my dad would sometimes cook a glazed ham or lamb chops for dinner.
I could relate to the American Girl Doll Josefina because she is Roman Catholic like me. I would think that because Josefina loves to sing and I love listening to Easter church hymns. I can imagine Josefina dressing up to go to church on Easter Sunday.
If you want to find out more about Josefina, you can read one of her amazing stories and drop by the Girl AgGain store to check out some of her amazing merchandise! 20% off storewide for the month of April.
